ML-DRIVE & MLP-DRIVE

1/4 to 2 HP SCR Drives with Built-in Digital Motor Speed Controller

 

The ML-DRIVE and MLP-DRIVE are cost effective integrated controllers + DC drive.  The built-in SCR drive can handle up to 2 HP Permanent Magnet DC motors and has a settable current limit of 0 to 10 Amps.  The digital controller provides closed-loop speed regulation for applications that require precision.  The MLP-DRIVE has all the capabilities of the ML-DRIVE, but with an Analog Input and zero cumulative error in follower mode.

M-DRIVE

The M-DRIVE is a cost effective integrated controller + DC drive.  The built-in SCR drive can handle up to 2 HP Permanent Magnet DC motors and has a settable current limit of 4 to 16 Amps.  The digital controller provides closed-loop speed regulation for applications that require the highest level of precision.   With zero cumulative error, the M-DRIVE can accommodate demanding electronic gearing applications often found in web handling, and extrusion processes.

1/8 to 3 HP Regenerative DC Drives

 

The DF9-Series regenerative DC drives from CONTREX are ideal for applications that require control of not only the speed and direction of motor rotation, but also the direction of motor torque.  These drives are capable of switching rapidly from motoring to braking modes while simultaneously controlling the direction of motor rotation.  While in braking mode they convert the mechanical energy of the motor and connected load into electrical energy which is returned to the AC power source.

E-Series Drives

1/4 to 2 HP SCR Drives

 

The E-Series SCR Drives can control Permanent Magnet or Shunt Field DC motors in the 1/4 to 2 HP range.  Each E-Drive can operate in automatic tach-follower, or master-ratio applications utilizing encoder or proximity switch lead signals.  For operator convenience, LED displays can be set to show information in engineering units such as feet-per-minute.  Current limiting is field adjustable in discrete increments of 4.0, 7.0, 10.0, and 12.0 Amps - eliminating the need for test meters.
