The open chassis design is perfect for OEM's requiring cost-effective designs and flexibility of applications. This package is offered for those high volume OEM customers who want to save panel space in their equipment and have a fixed-geometry or permanent-host configuration. The MB-Traverse is available as a "Control Card only" or as a combination "Control Card + Power Supply". The optional power supply provides isolated power for the controller board and 5 VDC isolated auxiliary power. The power supply simply plugs onto the board and connects to either a 115 or 230 VAC supply. The MB-Traverse mounts flat or on edge inside a control enclosure.

The MB-Traverse control has a serial port for RS422 and RS232 communication. ContrexHost software, when loaded on a Windows® PC or laptop, allows you to initiate commands, change parameters, load/save setup values, and monitor more than 50 values on one or up to 32 channels of MB-Series controllers.

The CONTREX hand-held, remote programming unit can be used on the manufacturing floor to change parameters or run diagnostic routines.
