Contrex Inc. is celebrating its 40th year providing precision motor speed and motion controls. Since the introduction of the first industrial speed controller in 1972 for the film processing industry, Contrex has been producing ready- to-use controllers with one major requirement - the speed and motion controllers must eliminate programming time.

Forty years later Contrex Inc. is proud to design and implement products ahead of their time – along with providing hard to find application expertise. Today’s machine environment requires simple yet capable controllers that are easily supported and documented. Contrex has pre-programmed controllers for popular applications including web handling, tension control, electronic lineshafts, registration, and rotary knifes.

Throughout 2012, Contrex will be releasing ground breaking products and services that once again will set standards for saving engineering time and money.
